ProNest Plate Inventory

The Plate Inventory module creates and stores rectangular, irregular and circular plates in a database. All Rectangular or new stock plates can be added to the plate inventory and continually utilized. Irregular and circular plates can be saved as remnants and skeletons from the nesting interface, added through a CAD file or imported with the Custom Remnants module. Inventory is updated as plates are consumed during nesting. For superior traceability, users can assign properties to each plate (such as Material and Thickness, Heat Number, Stock Number, Unit Price, Stock Quantity, Weight, Reserved, Reorder Quantity, Supplier and many more). Ideal for use as an independent ProNest option or integrated within a larger manufacturing system, this option will improve material utilization and will help reduce material inventory, plus it is perfect for use in traceability purposes as a part of an ISO certification system.
